Bandit Kingpins Bello Turji And His Top Commander Brag In New Video

Bello Turji, the leader of a group of bandits, refuted the assertion made by authorities in Niger regarding the apprehension of his key lieutenant, Kachalla Baleri, during Operation Faraoutar Bushiya on May 28.

In a recently surfaced video, Turji directly addressed the purported detention of Baleri by Niger Republic forces. The footage, disseminated on social media platform X by security analyst Zagazola Makama, depicts Turji and Baleri surrounded by their supporters, brandishing firearms. Turji confidently declares, "They claimed to have captured and eliminated Baleri... yet, here he stands!"

Baleri echoes Turji's sentiment, asserting, "Only divine intervention can determine my fate."

Turji, in the video, condemns both the Niger Republic and Nigerian governments for their alleged targeting and killing of innocent civilians, dismissing these accusations as "baseless allegations."

Furthermore, he demands the release of individuals wrongly detained under the guise of being affiliated with banditry, contending that many are simply nomadic herders or agricultural workers.

"You asserted that Baleri was slain or apprehended. Here stands Baleri. Should you seek his apprehension, he stands before you," Turji boldly states.
