Unknown gunmen shot two police officers, one other in Imo

On Tuesday, some unknown gunmen shot two police officers at a checkpoint on the road between Owerri and Okigwe in Imo state. They also shot a civilian who was inside his house.

According to an eyewitness, the shooting happened at around 6:25 am in the Akabo area of Imo state. The eyewitness said that the gunmen were driving recklessly and shooting randomly after they killed the police officers. They also targeted the man in his house and shot him.
