[Devotional] CULTIVATE GRATITUDE. By Apst. Obinna Kris Chinagorom

CULTIVATE GRATITUDE.

Waking up this morning did you take time to say thank you to God for the privilege to see another day?

What a perfect and wonderful thing to do if we can cultivate the sense of gratitude in  every small or big thing we receive in this year 2024, gratitude is simply defined as strong feelings of appreciation of something someone has done to you.

‭‭Luke‬ ‭17:15‭-‬19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

[15] One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. [16] He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. [17] Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? [18] Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” [19] Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you .

In this scripture Jesus illustrate the power of gratitude to God Almighty and even to man for every thing that we receive because receiving is not complete if there is no thankful response, but today in our society the reverse is the case, ingratitude has become the order of the day, people no longer show concern to the things they have, rather depressed for what they don't.

To live a better and peaceful life in 2024 it's important that we return to the right ways of doing things, let us cultivate a thankful spirit. The power of thank you makes us to focus on the good things we receive and helps us to remain positive to attract more.

SHALOM, SHALOM, SHALOM, may the God of peace be with you and guide you through this week in Jesus name Amen. 🙏

SPECIAL NOTICE, WE WANT TO CREATE A WHATSAPP GROUP FOR THE DEVOTIONAL, SINCE THE NUMBERS OF PEOPLE THAT WE SERVE WEEKLY HAVE INCREASED TO  ENSURE EASY SHARING TO THE GLORY OF GOD. PLEASE KINDLY ACCEPT THE INVITATION IF YOU WISH TO BE RECEIVING THE MESSAGES.
