[Devotional] The word by Apst. Obinna Kris Chinagorom

THE WORD.

In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being. In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it].

John 1:1‭-‬5 AMP

Many people today are confused with the term "The Word" as it relates to our daily activities, the word can be in two ways the word of flesh which is human and the Word that is Spirit which is Christ. The word of God is Spirit and life to them that receives it. Christ is the word that was made alive and still remains alive within us till the end of the age.

Jesus Christ is [eternally changeless, always] the same yesterday and today and forever.

Hebrews 13:8 AMP

The scripture said that their is no changes with the word of God, it's reliable and the only word proven to be trusted even in the times of trouble. The word is always a sure place of confidence at all times both in good and bad times. When the Lord say something or makes a promise he keeps  it why ?

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Psalm 138:2 KJV

God will not play or gamble with his word because he is the word,  I pray that the Word be revealed and manifest in all our challenges this week in Jesus name 🙏.
