On Tuesday, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, stated that a 33-year-old woman named Ifeoma Ossai had killed her 50-year-old landlord, Monday Oladele, during a disagreement. The police were alerted by Olaleye Taiwo, who reported the incident at the Sango-Ota divisional headquarters. The disagreement started over the payment of electricity bills. Oyeyemi said the tenant grabbed the manhood of the deceased and dragged him with it, causing him to fall unconscious on the ground. The deceased was rushed to the General Hospital, Ota, where he was confirmed dead. The suspect was arrested by the police and taken into custody for investigation. Upon interrogation, the suspect claimed that the deceased asked her to pay for the electricity bill, but she insisted on water being directly connected to her apartment as promised by the landlord before she moved in.
