EU Condemn 2023 Election

 

The EU Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) in Abuja, Nigeria has released a second statement. They haven't finished observing the entire election process yet, but wanted to share what they've seen so far.  The EU EOM has noticed that some people are trying to stop voters from expressing their opinions freely. This is making it hard for people to vote the way they want to, even though civil society groups are working to promote democracy.  The state elections are not over yet, so the EU EOM will continue to watch what happens. They will write a final report later, with suggestions for how to make the election process better. If they need to, they may release more statements about the election as things develop.
