[DEVOTIONAL] GOD'S FAVOUR by Apst. Obinna Kris Chinagorom

Favour to me is divine grace, ability to attracting God's attention upon yourself, Favour is divine in the sense that it locates a man and not vise versal. The place of Favour is found in God's presence, therefore it cannot be manipulated or faked.

Favour is different from Grace,  while grace is free and unmerited gift of God, Favour is not but, comes with a merit and a price tag. ask any man that is favoured by God and they will tell you the price they paid, a man's success lies in his story. 

When one contacts Favour, it transfers to  the whole generation. The Favour of God lifts a man from a place of dishonour to honour,  disgrace to greater grace, distractions to attraction, dishonesty to honesty every "DIS" attachment to you be removed completely.

I have found David my servant; With my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: Mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; Nor the son of wickedness afflict him. And I will beat down his foes before his face, And plague them that hate him. But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: And in my name shall his horn be exalted. (FAVOUR)

God's favour located David while in the Bush attending to his father's flocks, in his family he was regarded a bushman and the list amongst all the sons of Jesse. He didn't have the privilege of having education but in God's eyes he is a king. God's favour located Joseph while in the Bush, Daniel, Abraham the father of faith, Mary the mother of our Lord, one thing I noticed that all these people have in common is the true desire to serve God.

King Saul compared to King David had only God's approval and not his favour hence he lacked the ability to withstand the test of his heart towards God but one with God's favour has all it takes by grace. 

One thing God's favour offers whomever it locates is, you will be embarrassed with the number of enemies you will have both in-house and outside, living few genuine friends. It's  so to enable you focus towards God's program for your life. Now you will be able to  say as David said !!!

O how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: For they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: For thy testimonies are my meditation.
