 EFCC Arrests Brothers, 23 Others For Alleged Internet Fraud

Two brothers alongside 23 others have been apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged fraud.

The suspects are Aregbesola Tobiloba, Oladosu Saheed, Oseni Omotara, Abel Durotimi, Oyeneye Rilwan Adetola, Oyewole Damilola, Ovin Adekunle, Ovin Nicholas, Ridwan Iyiola, Sylvester Evans.

Adekanye Ayodeji Ezekiel, Osagie Harry Odosa, Arowolo Oluwafemi Isaac, Omoregbe Destiny Nosa, Evbonaye Olaleye, Adeyemo Abiola, Temitope Ajetonmobi, Dare-Ilori Oreoluwa David.

The rest included Oshokoya Olaoluwa Muritalah, Omotoye Collins Oluwaseun, Hassan Abdulwahab Oladimeji, Agbaje Jackson Babatunde, Owolabi Temiloluwa Dominion, Fadipe Biodun Idris and Agbayo Moshood Oriyomi.

Damilola, Adekunle, Nicholas and Iyiola were arrested at Palmcity Estate in the Lekki area; others were picked from City-View Estate off Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The EFCC said they were arrested following credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in computer-related fraud.

Exotic vehicles, laptops and mobile phones were recovered from them at the point of arrest.

EFCC spokesman Wilson Uwujaren disclosed that the suspects have provided their statements and will soon be charged to court.
