FG Increase Price Of Electric Meter

 The cost of both single-phase and three-phase electricity meters has been raised by the Federal Government and this is expected to kick off wef November 15, 2021.

This is announced in a circular dated 11 November 20201,issued by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission and addressed to managing directors, all electricity distribution companies and all meter asset providers.

This implies according to the circular, In the document, the price of a single-phase meter will now be N58,661.69 from the current cost of N44,896.17. Consequently, the price of a three-phase meter from the current cost of N82,855.19 to a revised rate of N109,684.36.
