Wizkid Rubbishes Pres Buhari’s Media Aide, Lauretta Onochie For Calling Him A “Dumb Kid”
Sensational singer, Wizkid has responded to Pres Buhari’s Media Aide, Lauretta Onochie for calling him a “Dumb Kid”
Pres. Buhari’s media aide, Lauretta Onochie had taken to Twitter to react to Wizkid’s now-famous tweet which called out the president for reaching out to Donald Trump after he and his wife tested positive for the coronavirus. Wizkid in his tweet called Buhari an old man and urged him to face his country.
However, this statement did not go well with Lauretta who slammed the singer for addressing the president in such a disrespectful manner. According to her, Wizkid exhibited crass ignorance, insensitivity, and childishness and she even went as far as calling him a Dumb Kid.
She wrote:” Its not disrespectful to call anyone old. Its the way and manner Ayo Balogun addressed the President that leaves a sour taste in the mouth. He exhibited crass ignorance, insensitivity, and childishness. But hey, he’s a #DumbkidNotWhizKid. When he grows up, he might learn respect.
Wizkid reacted to her tweet reminding her that a 77-year-old man is not a young man. Wizkid finds it shameful that a woman and a mother of kids like Lauretta would make such a statement. Wizkid also expressed disappointment that this is all she has to say when kids are getting killed by the police/sars on a daily basis. Wizkid also wrote that he is a father and that age has nothing to do with demeaning for better governance in the country.
