I charge $50,000 (N18,000,000) for a collaboration – Mr. Eazi claims

Nigerian singer, Mr. Eazi has claimed that he charges artistes a whopping fifty thousand dollars ($50k) to collaborate on their songs. Fans have found this claim hard to believe, as they wonder how much he is worth in the first place.

But Eazi seemed not to have been mincing words when making his claim. No doubt, Eazi has a unique style of music that even got adopted by many Nigerian singers at some point. Also, he has been featured on quite a number of songs and is arguably in the A-List cadre. However, the singer’s worth has not really been conclusively discussed thus far.

However, Mr. Eazi recently deemed it needful to talk about his income. In all he said, his claim of charging as much as fifty thousand dollars got fans talking and doubting the integrity of his claim. Fifty thousand dollars is equal to eighteen million naira (N18m). It is known that most artistes charge as much as N6m to perform at events and shows.

Based on that knowledge, it is hard to believe Mr. Eazi’s words, and fans have been on his neck to confirm if he really charges $50k for collaboration or he meant to say N50k. Eazi is yet to speak in that regard again.
