[Devotional] ASK by Apst. Obinna Kris Chinagorom

A = ASK, S = SEEK , K = KNOCK (ASK).

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Matthew 7:7‭-‬8 KJV

Nothing happens in life without prayer,  is either you are praying to the living God or to other gods. Jesus never seized to pray, infact the bible says that Jesus often disappear from his disciples into a quiet place to pray.

Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:17‭-‬18 KJV

Prayer to every child of God should be a consistent action both in spirit and physical, prayer is an act or reverence to Almighty God, we speak our heart to God when we pray,  this is the reason why someone that is asking for something never stops until answer is received. The Same goes to when you're seeking to get something you cannot lie down or fold your hands without actions that prove your determination, someone that wants a door where there is a treasure to be opened, shouldn't stop knocking until the is open.

Prayer is the perfect or magic key that unlocks every door. If we understand that the world is a product of spoken words by God and the same God is the one that commands man  to pray or rather speak to him concerning his purpose over our lives, therefore we shouldn't joke with prayer.

 Spirit of prayer I suggest is what every child of God needs because life is not funny and the battle of life, between good and evil is a daily routine and demands that we are spiritually alive. Life as said can be full of challenges but with God on our side we will always win no matter how long the battle goes but the end will always be victorious.

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Psalm 50:15 KJV

Shalom, Shalom Shalom.
