Davido’s “Risky,” “Blow My Mind,” & “A Good Time” Certified By Sony Music To Have Sold Over 2 Million Copies

Davido is definitely on a cloud nine at the moment as Sony Music has certified that he has sold 2 million copies of musical records.

The singer took to his Instagram page to share a video of the ceremony held by the record label to celebrate the latest achievement in South Africa. In the video, he was given a plaque to commemorate the success of the singles “Risky,” “Blow My Mind” and his album “A Good Time”

His manager, Asa Asika also took to his Instagram page to share more details about the certifications. According to him, “A Good Time” went 2 x platinum, “Risky” went platinum while “Blow my mind” went 2 x platinum. According to the Recording Industry of South Africa (RISA), for a single to be certified Platinum, it should have sold over 20,000 units which means that all of Davido’s records sold over 2 million copies.
